My visual identity was informed by 3 primary things:
- the brand characteristics of the Cloris Awards
- the discussion we had last class based on our moodboards

Some suggestions I received from classmates included:
- see what would happen if I filled in the gaps in the word "Cloris"
- look at the mark in reverse (a light mark on a dark background)
- the typeface used for the word "Awards" looks elegant and award-show-like, which is good!
- think about how this mark will work on social media; how can it be adapted to accommodate the format change?
Moving forward, I want to refine the lines and spacing of the logo, experiment with it in different applications, and refine my colors and typography by looking at them used in different ways.
